$20 million project will be help ease housing shortfall in SL

SALT LAKE CITY (July 27, 2021) - BCC Construction has announced it will construct Altitude, a 156-unit apartment building in Salt Lake City, Utah. Utah's population grew by 15.5% over the last year, making it the fastest-growing state in the U.S.

Opportunity zones are designated economic development areas that allow people to invest while enjoying certain tax benefits. They are designed to spur economic growth, create jobs, and provide residential options for workforce housing.

"This area of the community has been in need of meaningful investment for too long," said Aaron Grennon, president of BCC Construction. "These new apartments will go far in helping the area become a desired place to live, work, and play again."

The 117,565-square-foot, seven-story residential building near Salt Lake City International Airport will include two levels of parking and six levels of apartments. Amenities will include a rooftop deck and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Construction will begin in the spring of 2022 and will be completed by summer of 2023.
